Health & Wellbeing

Through our Health projects, we target marginalised groups of children whom we can have the biggest impact on.
Whether a child is living with HIV/AIDs, being impacted by parental ill health, or has recurring medical problems, they should be able to access the healthcare they need.

Awareness

In most of the communities we work in, access to basic healthcare is usually limited. By providing information to children and communities about the health services that are available, and how to access these themselves, we can improve basic health. We also support individuals and communities with WASH services, medication and emergency food parcels.

Specialist Training

Training parents, teachers & other key stakeholders about how to support children who are ill or how to learn to live with life-threatening diseases themselves is fundamental to developing a sustainable healthcare solution for the children we support.

Reducing Stigma

Raising awareness about health related issues, like HIV & disabilities, amongst children and their local communities  helps to reduce the stigma children face on a daily basis. By educating people about healthcare, we can lay the foundations for a safer childhood.
