We provide assistance by granting an allowance to cover the travel expenditure
of 100 poverty stricken children suffering from cancer. This allows them to
travel to the hospital for periodic check ups as well as obtain the appropriate
medication. |

In Sri Lanka, too many children suffer due to late diagnosis and treatment. We
help children from the poorest areas of the country travel to the hospital to
receive treatment including medication and ongoing counseling. |

£5 a month would provide a child suffering from cancer with the opportunity to
travel to the hospital on a regular basis, undergo periodic checkups and obtain
medication whilst receiving the treatment they need.
